They remain in servitude, regardless of the technology.

It seems that the Alphas want to keep the world in a state of class described by Huxley.

I agree that we can co-create our reality, but we must deal with what we find. The problem as I see it is that too many have fallen into the trap of only seeing life in economic terms, comfort, safety, entertainment. Bread and circuses.

If we are to move beyond this we need to see ourselves as spiritual beings of worth beyond mere economic function.

We are cosmic beings, but so long as people believe the atheist reductionist lies that they are no more than matter then they will never rise above the servitude to the materialism that they have become entrapped in.

This is, to me, the lesson of Brave New WorldCosmic Clairehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01956437927031336935noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7940059668532065897.post-43046594307302652922012-07-28T01:10:14.108-07:002012-07-28T01:10:14.108-07:00Dear Clair,

His lower grade jobs could all be handled by robots. Azimov explored the issues of a robotic society in his novels . There is also no reason why artificial intelligences themselves would not have their own concerns about spirituality. Kelvin Kelly argues that spirituality arrises naturally out of any sentient or intelligent entity see his blog http://www.kk.org/thetechnium/ .

I believe that all manner of bio-technical and cyber-technical hells could be imagined. Its important not to dwell on these. Our thoughts create our reality so I daily imagine the most benevolent ecstatic utopia I can muster. I think this was once called prayer. Focussing on the how we get there is also illusionary and right brained. Trusting in emergence means letting go and allowing the Universe get on with it. What one believe is what one will get.

My experience is that just holding a positive belief affects the way the everyday world presents itself.

Best wishes Graham HaleLoomyerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00396842842672368182noreply@blogger.com
